Ezt olvasom Trump győzelme után

Politikát kizárva persze.

“Problems cannot be solved with the same mind set that created them.”
(Albert Einstein)

Összeomlik a tőzsde a bohóctól?

“No one really knows what Trump’s policies will be (possibly not even him yet) but he has stated numerous times that he plans on doing massive infrastructure spending. He’s always promised tax cuts and isn’t afraid of large budget deficits. If anything like this were to happen, we could see much higher corporate profits and higher inflation.”
Could a Trump Presidency Lead to a Stock Market Bubble?

“Well, the fiscal stimulus is the key here and it likely means we see higher profits, higher interest rates, higher growth and higher inequality.”
What Does President Trump Mean for the Economy & Market?

“Surprises are a fact of life. The trick is to try to not to be surprised that you’re surprised.”
Could a Trump Presidency Lead to a Stock Market Bubble?

“Everything is always changing. The best models stay right for months, or even years, but not forever. Why we seem to always be surprised is part of our flawed wetware.”
Trump’s Win Yields Investing Wisdom

A következő annyira bizarr, hogy félek, hogy félreértettem valamit. A Wired már két nappal a választás előtt megkoronázta a statisztika új császárát, aki amúgy elsöprő Clinton győzelmet kiáltott, és nem is túl szerényen.

“This year, Wang called the election at 8:55 PM on October 18. He promised to eat more than just his hat if Clinton loses: “It is totally over. If Trump wins more than 240 electoral votes, I will eat a bug,” Wang tweeted to his 23,000 followers. He expects Clinton to receive at least 298 electoral votes.”

“Rather than representing minute changes in percentage chances as election data streams in, Toker shows that the NYT’s forecast has hardcoded jitter on its election coverage page, “
The NYT’s election forecast needle is stressing people out with fake jitter
